I cannot find a belt sized 9/16 x 81.625" OEM and I was told this is the exact width and length that I need to look for. I think the aftermarket sizes are a little too different in the width so I'm worried of the tension and slipping. 🤔

I figured the belt is also too tight so should I keep my mule bracket on the above mounting or move them below? What's the best decision here?

honestly if the aftermarket belts are close enough in size they should work fine unless the width difference is big enough to mess with the pulley grip as for the mule bracket moving it below might help if the belt feels too tight but that's kinda trial and error unless you know for sure the tension specs on your setup have you measured the actual belt path to confirm the oem size is even right

have you tried checking online if the belt is available anywhere near you or if you can order it onlinw? who knows it may be available at a local parts shop

I agree with this but if you can still find the belt meant for your machine then that's better

I think that's a rare size honestly, you could find close matches like the 5/8" x 81" or 82" but be wary because there may be tension issues. Anyway, if the belt is too tight do put the mule bracket on the lower mount. :) One way to reduce tension!

Tnesion is the biggest problem and you'll want to get it right, especially since you cant find the right size. The mule bracket can help but it wont do miracles. You'll need a snug fit, not too tight, not too lose because youll either break it or it will slip

9/16 x 81.625" is a weird size tbh that's why aftermarket options aren't much... They usually round to the nearest half or 5/8" that's why. But getting more or less can interfere with tension and grip. Other than what's already suggested here I suggest Gates or Bando industrial belts!
