Banana plate for Case 648 tractor

My brother has this Case 648 tractor and laaawd he's been nagging me for changing the banana plate for weeks. I'm not familiar with this model (and just annoyed by him lol), just wondering is it a good idea to drain the fluids (Gas, Hyd. oil) and lay the tractor on its side to work on this?

honestly tilting the whole tractor on its side sounds like way more trouble than it's worth unless you really know what you're doing draining the fluids isn't enough because you're still risking leaks or even damaging parts better off jacking it up properly or finding a way to reach the banana plate without flipping the thing over

Before resorting to flipping the entire tractor over, i suggest that you try to check if you can reach the banana plate from underneath or try to remove some parts to get a better angle. Do let us know if this works!

I'd recommend propping it up instead of laying it flat, especially if you're working on something sensitive like the hydraulics.

flipping a tractor on the side to drain the fluids, are you seriousl? there are 100 things that can go wrong, please stop giving advice if you have no idea what you're talking about.

@FullMetalJacket put the rear wheels on a ramp for better access and whatever you do DON"T FLIP THE TRACTOR

No no no no just no. Don't lay it on its side. Agree with @tamagotchi80 I'm pissed no one's looking @GLaDOSTester95 already said it's more trouble than is worth. Why are people saying "before resorting to flipping it over." I'm flipping you off.
