I did something stupid with my hydraulic system. Need urgent help

I don't know why I was a very confused in the morning so I accidentally poured... yes... 18 Oz. fuel into my Ingersoll hydraulic system? I know not to start the engine thank god I'm stupid but not that much. But yeah I was alamost done pouring the 2nd batch of 10 Oz. when I realized what I was doing. So......... any other advice than to actually stay awake? How do I delute this so I don't hasten my wear and tear or something

My brother did that once, yeah it happens more often than you think lol. Anyway, don't run it until you've finished a full oil drain. No, after that, you need to put around a quart of oil in the tank and let it drain out to flush out any gas that may still be there.

If you want to be extra careful (which is smart with hydraulics), try to do two or even three flush cycles with small amounts of fresh oil. It's cheaper than replacing hydraulic components later

@DailyCoffee2025 I can't help but AGREE with you. Like man, you got it right there. Bottomline is, OP, you're gonna need a couple of thorough flushes to save you a ton of headaches and cash down the road.
