snowblower conversion hydraulic motor drive on a 448

My 448 project's run into a bit of a roadblock... Trying to fit a PTO clutch to the Briggs & Stratton on my 448 has been tougher than I expected, so I'm brainstorming some alternatives and would really appreciate your input.

I'm thinking abt picking up a Cub Cadet or an Ingersoll snowblower. The idea is to attach a hydraulic motor to it and run it off the hydraulic PTO on my 448. Has anyone here done somethin similar? I'd love to know what motor size you think I should go with, what kind of flow rate would be necessary for it to work effectively, and just how well it might hold up under pressure.

You'll need a hydraulic motor that can handle that flow comfortably, something like a 6 to 8 cu in/rev motor should get you in the ballpark for decent rpm and torque. Keep in mind, chain reduction might help you dial in the blower speed if it's spinning too fast.
Both the cub cadet and ingersoll blowers are good, but the Ingersoll ones usually adapt a little easier since they're often already used in hydraulic setups.

@H3ritageT1ck for hydraulic snowblower conversion, first, you gotta know the GPM output of your 448's hydraulic PTO and its typical operating PSI. This is the absolute starting point for sizing any hydraulic motor effectively. have you tried to check your owner's manual?
