I've got a 1972 Case 442, and I'm trying to track down a replacement for one of the hard hydraulic lines that runs from the PTO valve to the rear of the tractor. The PTO valve itself is on the left side of the tractor, and these hard lines are what power the rear attachments. Unfortunately, I'm having a real hard time finding any specific mention of the PTO system or these hard lines online and I don't have a manual. It's tough to get a part number without seeing it clearly identified. Does anyone know which specific Case parts manual would cover the PTO valve and these hard lines for a 1972 442? Or perhaps anyway you can identify and confirm it for me? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

@Sndrsx10 that's actually a tricky one without the manual! I've seen ppl with older Case tractors run into this.
For those specific hard lines, you're looking for an Official Case (or Case-IH) Parts Catalog (PC).
Sometimes they're labeled as a 'Parts Manual' or 'Illustrated Parts List.' You'll want the one that specifically covers the 442 series compact tractors from that era, as hydraulic systems can vary

Here's the thing, most folks spend weeks hunting down OEM manuals when, in reality, Case's documentation from the '70s was often incomplete or flat-out wrong on hydraulic routing. Your best bet? Yank the line, bring it to a fab shop, and skip Case altogether
