I got a Case Colt Ingersoll 648L with the old pin-on bucket and it's really slowing me down. I'm constantly swapping attachments and that old setup is just a pain so I'm looking to convert it to a quick attach system. Has anyone done this on a 648L? Are there any specific kits or adaptor plates that work well with these loaders, or is it mostly a cut-and-weld job? Any tips or things to watch out for would be greatly appreciated.

@d4sw0n.m.j a few of my friends do this on older Ingersoll loaders.
there isn't a direct bolt on kit specifically for the 648L, you can often find blank quick-attach plates online (like from Summit Attachments, Worksaver, or some smaller fabrication shops) that you then modify to fit your loader arms.
The challenge is ensuring your loader's lift capacity is adequate for the attachments you plan to use with the quick attach. Also, make sure to consider the added weight of the quick attach itself, as it reduces your net lift capacity slightly

I converted my 648L a while back. There aren't many off the shelf kits made specifically for that model, so I ended up using a universal quick attach plate and welding custom mounts.
